  • Founding Story

    Traveling through Nepal in 1999, Gry & her sister Sif were immediately struck by the craftsmanship and openness of the people. The idea grew in them to combine felting with Danish design and thus create a unique collection.

  • Production

    The label Èn Gry & Sif has been producing great wool felt products in Nepal since 2000. Gry Staunstrup delivers the designs in typical Danish design - traditional, subtle and at the same time colorful and playful. The implementation is done by Nepalese women in traditional manual work.

  • Certifications

    Èn Gry & Sif is Fair Trade certified and each product is handmade and unique from 100% wool. This comes from New Zealand and is only treated and processed with soapy water and environmentally friendly colors by Nepalese women.

Gry is the founder and designer behind the brand, mother of four and lives in Denmark with her family. What particularly impresses us - in addition to her creativity - about Gry is her commitment to fair wages and working conditions for women in Nepal as well as environmentally friendly production. We appreciate her very much and want to support this women-run company.
